The new TV season review... So far

======
I am giving a quick review of the currnet TV season by review the 4 new shows I'm currently watching. I did the same thing last year when I watched Threshold, Close to Home, The War at Home, and Bones. I liked all of them and only 1 was cancelled, pretty good record for that year. For this year I picked another 4 shows and I'll give a quick show breakdown and my thoughts about the shows. Here's the first on my list...

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is about these 2 guys who use to work for the show a few years ago and were fired. But they were brought back by a new studio head after the current man in charge of the show went on live TV and berated the network. I had a feeling that this was an Movie script that was turned into a TV series(I get the same feeling about that show Justice ). To be honest I didn't have high hopes for this show but it's been better than I thought it would be, and the same can be said of Matt Perry. So far there hasn't been a bad episode and I hope it continues.

The Nine is about these 9 people who were in the Bank when it was robbed and held hostage for about 2 days. So far this show is doing Okay and I can see where they're going, It seems as the year goes on they'll tell what happened during that robbery. The only problem I can see is where the show can go after that.

Heroes is about these different people who all of a sudden discover they have super powers. So far this show is a little disappointing and that's too bad, I hope it gets better soon. It's really too bad because I've seen Greg Grunberg in other shows and he is an excellent actor. I also enjoy Hayden Panettiere when she was Lizzie on Guiding Light and Noah Gary-Cabey as Franklin from My Wife and Kids. There was however this really cool scene at the end of the resent episode after the cheerleader character gets in killed when she gets a branch through the back of her head after an attempted rape; After the stick is removed she wakes up and notices she has chest cut open, exposing her ribcage.

Jericho is about this town in Colorado named Jericho and how they survive after there is a nuclear attack. So far this show is working, very well in fact. This show has the most potential to be a series that will be remembered. The cast is great(as far as the main cast goes) and to be honest when I heard Skeet Ulrich was in this show I was not happy, so far he's doing great.

As I write this I have news about these shows; both Jericho and Heroes have both been picked up for the season and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is getting rating NBC isn't happy with but they're gonna wait and see because it does well with the rich demographic... So far, So good. Now that I'm done I'm going to watch another horror(all during October), what movie? Don't think about it too hard.
