WHY? Can you explain this to me?

We all know that there’s a lot of things that can get us, car accidents, diseases, natural disasters, murder, suicide, and the list goes on. We also know that death will come for you someday, and when your number’s up, it’s up. Death is just the last destination on the circle of life, the only thing we all really have in common is that we are all born and will die. With all that said (and having had a very close brush with death myself) can somebody just explain this to me. I don't understand these kind of things, how do things like this happen? I don't know what to say here.

The video talks for itself.

The Kelsey Shelton Briggs Story.

Sad isn't it, the real sad thing is that this is just one story out of many. You don't have to take my word for it, look into it and you'll find cases and reports that are in your state, county, even in the town where you live, it's a real eye opener.
I don't know how to stop this kind of thing, but I know one simple thing you can do to help; If you see abuse(or have reasonable concern) then report it, and check up on it(be aware that you won't get details) to make sure something is getting done. Nowadays it's easier to ignore it or you might feel guilty about getting into somebodies business. That's not guilt, guilt is turning on the 6:00 pm local news and seeing that child carted out of the house in a body bag, and knowing that you had a chance to do something about it.
When all is said and done, there is always somebody who knows what's going on, If you're that person make sure let the right people know. If you're one of many and somebody else says they'll report it don't let that stop you, you still make out a report as well, because there is a difference between words and actions.
If you really want to get involved to help children and stop this abuse, take some time and find projects that you can do in your area and start there.

If you happen to be somebody who thinks they might have maybe gone to far with a spanking or any other situation, get somebody to help you. If you think you need help and decide you want to do better by your family then get some help. I know asking for help appears to be a sign of weakness, but let me ask you this; What is most important to you? Raising a child isn't easy, but nothing worth having ever is. I intend to look into this further and plan another Blog entry when I have more information and things that could help you out. There is a lot of hate for those who abuse kids to the point where they're considered lost causes. In a perfect world Parents would all raise their kids and everything goes the way it should; but since it's not there are hardships, setbacks, and problems that arise(are all part of life) make it harder and just frustrates you to no end and you can't get mad at the ones responsible(if anybody) and it's just easy to get mad at home, just take a second and breathe. I know that nobody really wants to hurt their kids, just remember to take a second and breathe and if you need help, make sure you get it.
