"We can make it better now, we have technology." Hey director!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you trying to ruin your movie? Remaking the movie is bad enough, but on top of that you're going to have a Pop-Tart(with an IQ of an half eaten candy bar) as the headliner? There must be something in the water over there.

Now all remakes suck, the only exception is Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween.

I can prove it, and here's how. Watch both versions of The Wicker Man, it doesn't have to be in any order. This is the perfect example of how a remake takes a great movie and turns it into a giant crap pile.

There is only one good things that come out of a remake, some people will check out the original before wasting their money to see the remake, then realize how great the original is.
