The Meek shall inherant the Earth, once the Jerks and Whiners are finished with it.

Can somebody answer a simple question for me? Why is it that the Jerks and Whiners always get what they want? I see it all the time and we always let them get away with it. I see the same 5 people complain about a Cross in a government building(usually in a city or county they don't live in), and the cross is removed, then they move on to the next building. All of a sudden everything is made so nobody will get offended by it. Whatever happened to the concept of "Just deal with it, the world doesn't revolve around you." There's a ton of things I don't like, but they don't change. Now I don't really care if there's a cross in a building or "In God we trust" on money, It doesn't really matter and if it bothers you just ignore it. I guess that covers the Whiners(there's a lot more but I don't have the time or space to list every incident here), so I'll cover the Jerks section.

I've seen this one guy walk into a little grocery store, grab a 30 pack of beer and a couple bags of chips, then tells the cashier that he's going "to take these with him" and bullies the cashier into not calling the cops. And if that's not bad enough I see the cashier take out his wallet and pays for the stuff taken. Well the next day I tell the manager(I know, I should have called the cops) what happened and he puts a stop to it by doing 1 think and 1 thing only, he fired the cashier. Let me make it clear that he did not turn it the guy who took the stuff, he just fired the employee; It makes me just sick. One of the plants up here(not named so I can't be sued, I hope) layed off(fired) 40 workers for 1 simple reason, the man in charge was pissed off because business is up only 7% when it should have been up 9%... but off course he still got his bonuses and other perks. Man that really makes me sick. I guess now we know what happens when the rich don't get richer.

So I guess the lesson here is if you really want something you just need to be as big a jerk as you can be, or just whine as loud as you can. He who whines loudest gets his way.
